About me

I am a Research Scientist in the Brain Team of Google Research. Previously, I was an acting assistant professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Washington and before that I was a postdoctoral fellow in the NSF-TRIPODS institute ADSI (now IFDS) at the University of Washington. I received my Ph.D. from Ecole Normale Superieure de Paris under the supervision of Alexandre d’Aspremont within the Sierra Team led by Francis Bach.

I am currently interested in developing new algorithms and convergence guarantees for optimization algorithms in a differentiable programming framework.
